mini-insulator 65*15mm (ISB-6515)
This tiny insulator is doing more for antenna construction than exspected. It is made of the hi-tec material ABS/PC (brandnamed Bayblend T65) and is asolutely crashproof and UV-resistant. The design is made by DK1RP Peter Bogner, wellknown by his DX-wires. Peter is prepared to deliver this insulator in a transparent version, made of PC/Makrolon ( www.dx-wire.de ).

The advantage of this design are the 2 slots of 20mm x 5mm, which make it possible to place the insulator to any position f.i. of a closed loop without opening the wire, and offers stability plus lowest weight. It is ideal for DX-expeditions which must be interested in easy-to-built wire antennas. This insulator combines very well with our spreaders SP-50 for ladderline fed antennas. |
